#BalmainArmy PFW Fall 16 Collection

At last, it's that time of year again...Paris fashion week! Oliver Rousteing debuted the new Balmain collection today and it is all types of pastel chic. Going by recent Balmain unveilings, the social  media sphere was, as expected, taken over. This time by the image of a hair colour swap of its staple models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner (which complemented the collection beautifully I might add).

Opening the show, Kendall's look was a sign of the type colour palette of the looks to come: soft, muted and tonal colours with a focus on sumptuous fabrics and textures. As the show progressed, the quintessential 'Balmain woman' as in past seasons, was evident in the form of form fitting silhouettes, and a focus on high necklines and statement choker necklaces.

What I found exceptionally exquisite about the pieces was the level of detail in the garments. The look below was one of my favourites because of the baroque thread and pearl detailing; one of the brand's many identifiable characteristics.

What were your favourite looks?
